The Quiet Battle for Business Connectivity Just Got More Interesting

CHANTILLY, VA – 06/06/2026 – (SeaPRwire) – For years, discussions around 5G routers have largely revolved around speed. Yet according to telecom infrastructure analyst Michael Thornton, the real competition is no longer about headline bandwidth figures but about reliability, deployment flexibility, and operational simplicity. In his view, enterprises increasingly treat connectivity as a core business asset rather than an IT utility hidden in the background. When a retail checkout system goes offline, a security camera loses its connection, or a remote office cannot access cloud applications, the impact is immediate and measurable. That is why carrier certification matters more than many people realize. It is less about technical paperwork and more about reducing deployment risk. Thornton argues that the next generation of business networking products will succeed not because they promise faster wireless speeds, but because they can keep organizations connected during power interruptions, network failures, and unpredictable operating conditions. From that perspective, certifications from major North American carriers are becoming a practical business requirement rather than a marketing milestone. That broader industry shift provides useful context for InHand Networks’ latest achievement. The company’s CR602 5G Router has completed certification processes for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, clearing an important hurdle for businesses planning large-scale deployments across North America. The device targets small and medium-sized businesses, retail stores, branch offices, project sites, and other distributed locations where connectivity disruptions can directly affect operations. On the hardware side, the CR602 incorporates a 3GPP Release 16 5G module and supports both standalone and non-standalone network architectures. Under supported network conditions, the router is designed to deliver download speeds of up to 7.01 Gbps and upload speeds reaching 2.5 Gbps. Those performance levels position it to support increasingly data-intensive business workloads, including cloud synchronization, video transmission, real-time collaboration platforms, and multi-user environments. The router also integrates Wi-Fi 7 technology, offering dual-band wireless access and local wireless throughput reaching up to 3000 Mbps. Support for as many as 32 connected devices makes it suitable for environments where point-of-sale terminals, employee tablets, security systems, office equipment, and guest networks operate simultaneously. One area where the product appears particularly focused is management efficiency. Through integration with InHand Networks’ InCloud Manager platform, administrators can monitor devices remotely, perform diagnostics, visualize network status, and receive operational alerts from a centralized interface. AI-assisted troubleshooting functions are designed to help identify anomalies more quickly, potentially reducing downtime and simplifying management for organizations overseeing multiple locations. Business continuity is another central theme. The CR602 supports both primary and backup connectivity strategies through a combination of wired broadband, cellular 5G access, dual SIM and eSIM capabilities, as well as battery-backed operation. These features are intended to help maintain network availability when connectivity paths or power sources become unavailable. Looking ahead, products like the CR602 reflect a larger transformation underway in enterprise networking. As cloud-based applications, edge computing, AI-driven services, and distributed work environments continue expanding, organizations are demanding networking infrastructure that behaves more like critical operational equipment than traditional office hardware. The arrival of Wi-Fi 7 and advanced 5G standards is accelerating that expectation. Businesses increasingly want networking platforms that can be deployed quickly, managed centrally, and maintained with minimal on-site intervention. Over the next few years, carrier-certified 5G routers are likely to move beyond their historical role as backup connections. They may become primary networking platforms for retail chains, temporary project sites, remote branches, and organizations seeking greater resilience against infrastructure disruptions. Vendors that successfully combine high-performance wireless connectivity with cloud management, intelligent diagnostics, and business continuity capabilities will be well positioned as enterprises rethink how they build and protect their digital operations.

Texas in Crisis: The Return of the Flesh-Eating Fly

(SeaPRwire) -By: Christian Brooks, a prominent financial and business lead commentator The New World screwworm fly threatens the $113 billion U.S. cattle industry. An infestation was found in a 3 - week - old calf in La Pryor, Texas. Federal and state officials had tried to keep it out of Texas, which has $17 billion worth of cattle. The fly was detected in Mexico in late 2024. It was a problem from the 1930s to 1960s until the U.S. eradicated it. The larvae eat live flesh. Any warm - blooded animal can be infested. Livestock are vulnerable due to handling. An untreated infestation can be fatal. But the fly doesn't infest food, and beef production may not be damaged. Officials have been warning about the fly's movement since 2024. It reproduces fast and spreads via hosts. Outside Panama, sterile fly programs are mostly shut down. As of June 2, over 171,700 animals and 2,000 people in Central America and Mexico are sick, with 10 human deaths. The U.S. closed border entries to livestock in 2025, delaying the fly's arrival. Texas imposed a quarantine. Ranchers are giving preventive injections and treating wounds. The USDA has been dropping sterile flies since February. It's also investing in new breeding facilities. With the fly's spread and potential impact on the cattle industry, immediate and effective measures are crucial to control the situation and safeguard the industry's future.

Bos Gergasi Tech Pertahanan Beri Amaran: Kebanyakan Pemain Akan Gulung Tikar

(SeaPRwire) - Oleh: James Vance, Kolumnis Kanan bertempat tetap di mingguan teknologi antarabangsa terkemuka Pengasas bersama Anduril tidak optimis dengan masa depan industri tech pertahanan. Dia berjaya bina syarikat gergasi bernilai AS$61 bilion. Trae Stephens memasuki dunia dasar luar selepas serangan 9/11. Dia belajar di Georgetown School of Foreign Service. Selepas tamat pengajian, dia menyertai agensi perisikan AS. Pusingan pendanaan Series H bulan lepas dabel nilai syarikat menjadi AS$61 bilion dalam kurang setahun. Stephens mengakui kerajaan AS telah banyak belajar dalam 10 tahun lepas. Perjanjian Other Transaction Authority membenarkan DoD memintas peraturan perolehan tradisional. Central Asia visit drives multi-sector collaboration, Business delegation signed 66 MoUs and agreements to seize Belt and Road opportunities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Jun 5, 2026 - (ACN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - A business delegation led by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), John Lee, and organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), completed its first stop in Kazakhstan from 1 to 3 June and are now visiting Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, for the final leg of its Central Asia tour from 4 to 5 June. During the visit, the delegation met with senior representatives of the local government and business communities, successfully advancing collaboration opportunities across multiple sectors. The HKTDC will follow up on key projects facilitated during the visit by providing professional post-‘mission business matching and support services, with a view to expediting project implementation while continuing to assist Hong Kong enterprises in exploring further international cooperation opportunities. The business delegation facilitated the signing of 66 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and agreements during its visit to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, covering areas such as trade, investment, finance, technology and aviation. In addition, 15 cooperation agreements were signed at the government level, while non-delegation members signed 15 MoUs in areas including academia and culture, bringing the total number of agreements and MoUs signed to 96. These outcomes have laid a solid foundation for deepening economic and trade ties among Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, underscoring Hong Kong’s role as a key platform for Mainland enterprises to go global and further promoting long-term collaboration with Central Asian markets. Looking ahead, the parties look forward to welcoming more Central Asian enterprises to Hong Kong and HKTDC’s flagship international conferences and exhibitions, including the Belt and Road Summit and InnoEX, to capitalise on Hong Kong’s strengths as an international business and trading hub and further deepen cooperation.During its stay in Uzbekistan, the delegation met with senior officials, trade bodies and business representatives, including the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT) of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, and IT Park Uzbekistan, to gain in-depth insights into the country’s economic developments, market environment and investment opportunities.Summing up the Central Asia visit, Mr Lee said: “The purpose of this visit is threefold. First, to further explore emerging markets and lay a solid foundation for long-term economic and trade development. Second, to strengthen government-to-government relations and promote closer bilateral cooperation. Third, to establish a hub-to-hub cooperation model.During the visit, I led a delegation of 75 business leaders from Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan — the two largest economies among the five Central Asian countries. The delegation attended more than 20 events and inspected multiple projects in the finance, innovation and technology, and infrastructure sectors. The visit was highly successful and achieved eight major outcomes.”Mr Lee held meetings with the Presidents, Prime Ministers and other senior officials of the two countries. Both sides agreed to strengthen high-level communication and pursue multi-faceted collaboration. The Government of Uzbekistan has agreed to establish a Consulate General in Hong Kong. In addition, multiple agreements were signed, including projects with substantial investment value. Both sides recognised that the hub-to-hub cooperation model will create broader and deeper collaboration between the two regions and drive high-quality development. They will increase high-level mutual visits, support each other’s promotional activities and jointly expand their networks.”To deepen economic and trade cooperation, the HKSAR Government and the HKTDC jointly hosted a business dinner in Uzbekistan, attracting around 230 business leaders and senior officials. Prof Frederick Ma, Chairman of the HKTDC, said at the dinner: “The Central Asia visit has delivered fruitful outcomes and once again reaffirmed the trust placed by Central Asian countries in Hong Kong’s role as a bridge. In tapping emerging markets, such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, with its international credibility, robust institutional framework, world-class professional services and the HKTDC’s global network, serves not only as a key springboard for Mainland enterprises to go global, but also as a gateway for overseas enterprises to enter the Mainland market, effectively facilitating two-way investment and trade flows. This virtuous cycle of going global and attracting foreign investment fully demonstrates Hong Kong’s irreplaceable value under the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the HKTDC’s strengths as the preferred platform for enterprises pursuing two-way expansion.”The delegation comprised business leaders from Hong Kong and 17 provinces and municipalities across the Chinese Mainland, spanning a broad range of sectors, including financial and professional services, logistics and transportation, innovation and technology, trade, green industries as well as the media. For the first time, representatives from journalism associations joined the delegation, in response to the Policy Address’s initiative to assist the local media in expanding their network beyond Hong Kong and telling the good stories of Hong Kong. Keputusan Mahkamah Agung Ini Ubah Seluruh Landskap Permainan Wang Dalam Talian India

Junglee Games India Pvt. Ltd. & Ors.* (2026 INSC 594). Pertaruhan €1.2 Bilion Piala Dunia 2026: Mengapa Algoritma Perancis Tidak Mampu Menyelamatkan Petaruh Muda?

ERA 2026: HighTide Therapeutics Presents New Findings Supporting HTD1801’s Renoprotective Potential in Oral Presentation ACN Newswire

ERA 2026: HighTide Therapeutics Presents New Findings Supporting HTD1801’s Renoprotective Potential in Oral Presentation

GLASGOW / HONG KONG - Jun 5, 2026 - (ACN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - HighTide Therapeutics, Inc. (2511.HK), an innovative biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development of multifunctional, multi-targeted therapies for cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic (CKM) diseases, today presented new findings on the renoprotective effects of its lead candidate HTD1801 in an oral presentation at the 63rd European Renal Association (ERA) Congress in Glasgow, UK.HTD1801 is a first-in-class anti-inflammatory metabolic modulator (AIMM) targeting the AMPK-NLRP3 axis. In the completed Phase III trials (SYMPHONY-1 and 2), HTD1801 demonstrated significant improvement in renal function in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and baseline eGFR of 60–90 mL/min/1.73m². Treatment of these patients with HTD1801 resulted in a mean increase of +3.08 mL/min/1.73m² in eGFR after 52 weeks (95% CI: 0.46–5.70), without evidence of hyperfiltration or fluid retention. These findings suggest that HTD1801 may differentiate from existing therapies, with the potential to delay or prevent disease progression. This study was conducted by HighTide Therapeutics in collaboration with the research team led by Academician Jiandong Jiang at the Institute of Medicinal Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and further explored the mechanistic basis underlying these clinical observations. In glucose- and palmitic acid-induced podocyte injury models, HTD1801 significantly preserved podocyte viability and inhibited apoptosis. HTD1801 also restored expression of the key podocyte structural proteins nephrin and podocin, while reducing the levels of the inflammatory marker phosphorylated NF-κB and the apoptosis executioner caspase-3. In a diabetic nephropathy (DN) model, HTD1801 demonstrated dose-dependent improvements in renal architecture, reduced tubular injury scores, attenuated renal inflammatory and fibrotic changes, and drove a robust decrease in 24-hour urinary microalbumin. The study systematically demonstrated that HTD1801 suppresses podocyte inflammation and apoptosis while stabilizing glomerular structure, providing the latest findings supporting its renoprotective potential. These findings provide important scientific rationale for the development of HTD1801 as a potential disease-modifying therapy for chronic kidney disease (CKD) and other renal diseases.Abstract Title: HTD1801 Attenuates Podocyte Apoptosis and Glomerular Injury: Mechanistic Insights into RenoprotectionPresentation Number: 2243Presentation Date/Time: Thursday, June 4, 2026, 8:15 a.m. BSTFormat: Oral PresentationSpeaker: Dr Filip Surmont, Chief Medical Officer of HighTide Therapeutics"This study provides the first evidence into the renoprotective effects of HTD1801 at the podocyte and glomerular levels. The convergence of clinical and preclinical data further supports the disease-modifying potential of HTD1801 and its ability to target fundamental pathophysiologic processes in CKD or other renal diseases," said Dr Filip Surmont, Chief Medical Officer of HighTide Therapeutics. "We will continue advancing the clinical development of HTD1801 across CKD and related indications to provide more treatment options for patients worldwide."About HTD1801HTD1801 is a first-in-class new molecular entity that targets the residual risks underlying cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic (CKM) diseases. It is an orally delivered, anti-inflammatory metabolic modulator (AIMM) that, as a single molecule, exerts a unique dual mechanism of action through activation of AMP Kinase and inhibition of the NLRP3 inflammasome, two complementary pathways that mitigate metabolic dysfunction. Multiple global clinical studies have demonstrated the comprehensive benefits of HTD1801, including improved insulin sensitivity, glycemic control, lipid lowering, renal protection, weight reduction, hepatic improvement, and anti-inflammatory effects. Collectively, these findings support the potential of HTD1801 to serve as a foundational therapy in CKM disease management. Everest Medicines Enters Commercialization License Agreement with Mabworks for Bejescin(R) in the Asia-Pacific Market

HONG KONG, Jun 4, 2026 - (ACN Newswire via SeaPRwire.com) - Everest Medicines (HKEX 1952.HK) announced that it has entered into a commercialization license agreement with Beijing Mabworks Biotech Co., Ltd. (“Mabworks”), under which the Company has obtained exclusive rights for the clinical development and commercialization of Bejescin(R) (MIL62, Obinutuzumab beta Injection) across the Asia-Pacific region, including Southeast Asia, India, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan region, China. Under the terms of the agreement, Everest Medicines will pay Mabworks an upfront payment of RMB 23 million and sales milestone payments of up to RMB 186 million. Mabworks will also be eligible to receive a share of gross profit in the region. This collaboration will strengthen Everest Medicines’ presence in nephrology and autoimmune diseases across the Asia-Pacific region, creating synergies with its nephrology portfolio. Leveraging its established and proven clinical development and commercialization capabilities, the company aims to advance the development of Bejescin(R) and support its launch in the Asia-Pacific region, while furthering its long-term strategy in the global innovative medicines market.Bejescin(R) (MIL62, Obinutuzumab beta Injection) is a novel third-generation anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody. As shown in relevant sources, it was approved in China in February 2026 for the treatment of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), becoming the first CD20 antibody approved for this indication globally and the first domestically developed therapy in China. The New Drug Application (NDA) for primary membranous nephropathy (PMN) is currently under Priority Review by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), with the potential to become the first approved targeted therapy for PMN worldwide. Bejescin(R) is also in Phase III trials for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and follicular lymphoma (FL), with potential for further expansion into other autoimmune indications.“We are delighted to collaborate with Mabworks on Bejescin(R). As the first CD20 antibody approved globally for NMOSD, Bejescin(R) has demonstrated strong clinical potential and significant opportunities in nephrology and autoimmune diseases,” said Mr. Yifang Wu, Chairman of the Board of Everest Medicines. “This collaboration strengthens Everest’s portfolio in these therapeutic areas and complements our existing pipeline. With our expertise in clinical development and commercialization, we are confident in advancing Bejescin(R) across the Asia-Pacific region, bringing this innovative therapy to more patients and improving access. At the same time, we are committed to further strengthening Everest Medicines’ presence in the Asia-Pacific and global innovative medicines market.”“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Everest Medicines on Bejescin(R) across the Asia-Pacific region. As the first approved CD20-targeted therapy for NMOSD worldwide and the potential global first targeted therapy for PMN, Bejescin(R) possesses exceptional product competitiveness and market potential.” said Mr. Luning Chen, President of Mabworks. “Since its launch in Mainland China, Bejescin(R) has achieved outstanding commercial performance. This collaboration will further strengthen Bejescin(R)’s commercial network and brand influence across the Asia-Pacific region, bringing ‘New Hope’ to more patients with renal and autoimmune diseases.”Bejescin(R) has shown meaningful clinical and therapeutic benefits across nephrology and multiple autoimmune disease areas, with potential for further indication expansion. Its development in NMOSD, PMN, and SLE is expected to provide more innovative treatment options for patients.NMOSD is a debilitating autoimmune disorder targeting the central nervous system characterized by high recurrence and disability rates, predominantly affecting young and middle-aged women. The disease typically presents acute or subacute onset and can progress rapidly, with approximately 90% of patients relapsing within three years. Severe cases may result in blindness or paralysis. Bejescin(R) has demonstrated a significant reduction in relapse risk as a monotherapy, with strong efficacy data underscoring both its clinical value and the convenience.PMN is one of the most common pathological types of adult nephropathy, with approximately 30%-40% of patients progressing to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) within 5 to 15 years. Globally, there are no approved targeted therapies for PMN. Phase III clinical data demonstrated that Bejescin(R) monotherapy provides significant advantages across multiple efficacy endpoints including complete clinical remission, complete immunological remission and overall clinical remission. Furthermore, Bejescin(R) showed a favorable safety and tolerability profile, together with a convenient dosing regimen. Following initial treatment, patients require only one intravenous infusion every six months, reducing treatment burden and supporting long-term treatment adherence.SLE is a chronic, systemic autoimmune disease that primarily affects young women. For this indication, Bejescin(R) is in Phase III clinical trial and offers the potential for administration every 24 to 28 weeks, addressing the need for long-acting therapies and providing an improved treatment option for patients with SLE.This collaboration is regarded as an important strategic step for Everest Medicines to deepen its footprint in the nephrology and autoimmune disease areas. With the development and commercialization of Bejescin(R) in indications such as PMN, the company’s nephrology product portfolio will be further strengthened, enhancing the synergistic effects within its existing pipeline. In addition, there is a broad consensus in the industry that the coming years may represent an important window of opportunity for the accelerated adoption of innovative Chinese medicines into the Asia Pacific region. Chinese innovation is becoming increasingly competitive in clinical value, affordability and accessibility, with growing alignment to the needs of healthcare systems and patients across the region. In recent years, Everest Medicines has continuously advanced its regional strategy in Asia-Pacific, gradually building an integrated capability system covering clinical development, market access, and commercialization. By introducing innovative products with differentiated clinical value such as Bejescin(R), the company is further expanding its regional product portfolio and market coverage, realizing the commercial value of its nephrology and autoimmune disease businesses, and injecting new growth momentum into its Asia-Pacific operations. Japan’s Ruling Party Pushes Crypto ETFs and Yen Stablecoins to Become Asia’s Crypto Hub

(AsiaGameHub) - By: James Vance, Senior Columnist, TechWeek International The ruling LDP’s latest proposal targets two critical gaps in Japan’s crypto space. Investors can’t access regulated crypto products easily. Regional digital payment options also lag behind global standards. On June 1, the LDP’s policy panel sent a proposal to Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama. The plan calls for a legal framework for crypto ETF trading. Investors would avoid direct coin buys and private key management. Japan’s cabinet approved an April draft reclassifying crypto as a financial product. The stablecoin push has a larger policy scope. LDP lawmaker Junichi Kanda wants yen stablecoins for Asian settlement. Progress will tie to the 2027 Asian Development Bank annual meeting. Japan’s three largest banks are testing stablecoin issuance with FSA support. JPYC has already launched a yen-pegged stablecoin. This plan will appeal to banks, asset managers, and investors needing clear compliance. The stablecoin push is designed to boost Tokyo’s regional financial clout. The 2027 ADB meeting will showcase this new regulatory-first strategy. This move could shift global crypto activity toward compliant frameworks. This article is provided by a third-party. Inside the 2026 WSOP: Variance, Volume, and the Business of Bracelets

(AsiaGameHub) - By: Logan Pierce, an independent business writer active on platforms like Medium The 2026 WSOP isn't just a card game. It is a high-stakes liquidity extraction event. Six new bracelet winners emerged from the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas corridors. The press release touts glory. We see capital allocation. The fields are massive. The variance is crushing. Players like Philip Chun and Karapet Galstyan aren't just lucky. They are extracting value from a chaotic system. The narrative focuses on the jewelry. The reality is the cash flow. This is business disguised as sport. The grind is real. The margins are thin. Only a few survive the rake. Philip Chun took down Event #1. The $550 Mini Mystery Millions drew 20,488 entries. Chun secured $400,000. Andrew Shelton snagged a $1,000,000 bounty envelope. That is a massive variance spike. Meanwhile, Karapet Galstyan won Event #10. He beat 4,622 players in the $600 Deepstack. He earned $259,829. It was his first live bracelet. He held pocket aces to eliminate Michael Wagner. He made a full house to win heads-up. These are specific tactical victories. They represent successful ROI on investment. Stephen Hubbard conquered Event #12. It was $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw. He topped 626 entries for $155,819. He finished eighth last year. This time he won. Honghao Zhang won Event #13. The Georgia Tech PhD student beat 1,840 entries. He took $346,108. He calls poker a hobby. He studies full time. He won with A-5 against A-4. The kicker played. Academic rigor meets table aggression. The ROI for a student is astronomical. It defies traditional labor market logic. Justin Liberto secured his second bracelet in Event #14. The Mixed Omaha event paid $265,297. His career total is now above $7.7 million. He won his first in 2015. He made the nut flush and nut low to win. Philip Ardire won Event #15. He jumped into the $600 PLO unprepared. He beat 2,636 entries. He earned $171,589. His flopped straight beat a set of queens. Unplanned entries yield maximum returns. The market rewards opportunism. The data shows a fragmented market. Low buy-ins drive massive volume. The Mini Mystery Millions is a volume play. The high rollers drive prestige. Liberto represents the long-term professional. Zhang represents the sharp amateur. The economy of the series relies on both. The house takes a cut. The players redistribute the rest. The skill edge is shrinking. Fields are too large. Solvers have leveled the playing field. Luck is the dominant variable now. The series will likely see a surge in algorithmic collusion detection next year. This article is provided by a third-party. US Sanctions Just Axed Visa and Mastercard in Cuba — Here’s the Real End Game

(AsiaGameHub) - By: Alistair Kroon, Well-known Overseas Geopolitical Commentator This isn’t just a minor payment service disruption. It’s a clear case of US sanctions weaponizing everyday financial infrastructure. Ordinary travelers and Cuban small businesses will bear the brunt of the decision, not the political targets the policy claims to hit. Hardline Cuba policy factions in Washington are the only parties that stand to gain from this move. Per the Central Bank of Cuba, Visa and Mastercard transactions will stop on June 6. A foreign bank ended its payment processing partnership with local firm Fincimex to trigger the change. Cuba ties the cut-off directly to expanded US sanctions under Executive Order 14404. Donald Trump signed that order on May 1, raising sanctions risk for third-party firms working with blocked Cuban entities. The suspension affects all international card payments routed through Fincimex, hitting visiting tourists first. The official line frames this as a neutral commercial decision by a foreign bank. The underlying goal is to squeeze revenue tied to GAESA, the Cuban military’s business network. OFAC first identified Fincimex as part of the GAESA network back in 2020. The new executive order raises penalties so high, no foreign bank can afford to keep the Fincimex partnership active. Alternative payment options including national prepaid cards, Mir, and UnionPay will keep operating in Cuba. This shift will speed up the global move away from US-controlled payment rails in sanctioned economies. This article is provided by a third-party. Binance’s NFT Purge: The Exchange is Finally Kicking You Out iGame

Binance’s NFT Purge: The Exchange is Finally Kicking You Out

(AsiaGameHub) - By: TechVanguard, a tech opinion leader with millions of followers on X/Twitter Binance isn't upgrading anything. They are kicking NFTs off the exchange floor. It's a forced eviction disguised as a feature update. The message is clear: centralized custody for JPEGs is dead money. They want you in self-custody, paying gas fees, or gone. This isn't about user experience; it's about cutting dead weight from the balance sheet. The "wallet upgrade" narrative is pure PR spin to hide a strategic retreat from a failing product vertical. The deadline is absolute. You have until 23:59 UTC on July 3, 2026, to move transferable NFTs. If you miss it, access is gone forever. Non-transferable NFTs are effectively burned; you cannot withdraw them. Binance Academy certificate holders are out of luck too. Those course-completion NFTs will simply vanish, replaced by PDFs. The platform is washing its hands of these assets entirely. There is no grandfathering in, no grace period for the lazy. There is a small bribe to leave early. Up to 100,000 users can get 1 USDC back for eligible withdrawals. This applies to non-CR7 NFTs moved to Binance Wallet Keyless via BNB Smart Chain or Ethereum between June 3 and June 17. CR7 holders have a separate track. They must withdraw Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs on BNB Smart Chain by July 3. Reimbursement hits accounts by July 19. It is a paid incentive to migrate to their self-custody solution. This move confirms the NFT winter is permanent for centralized platforms. Kraken NFT, Nifty Gateway, and X2Y2 already folded or pulled back. Trading volumes are nowhere near 2022 highs. Binance is just the latest giant to admit the centralized marketplace model is broken. The liquidity dried up, so the infrastructure must follow. They are reallocating resources away from speculative digital art toward more viable revenue streams. Web3 gaming remains the exception. Most gaming assets already live in user wallets, not exchange custody. This shift aligns Binance with that reality. It signals a broader pivot away from centralized browsing. The future is wallet-based ownership and direct Web3 interaction. Exchanges are becoming on-ramps, not museums. If your NFT isn't in your own wallet, it doesn't really exist anymore. The industry is maturing past the custodial phase. Centralized exchanges will completely abandon NFT marketplaces within the next two years. This article is provided by a third-party. Philippine Gaming Faces 19% Drop: The Online Boom Just Collapsed, And Land Casinos Are Back On Top

(AsiaGameHub) - By: Christian Brooks, prominent financial and business lead commentator The Philippine gaming market’s years-long online growth streak just hit a wall no one anticipated in 2025. The e-gaming segment that carried last year’s full-year revenue gains is now the biggest drag on 2026 performance. Investors and operators who poured capital into digital gaming platforms 12 months ago are already staring at steep unrealized losses. Pagcor CEO Alejandro Tengco revealed the updated 2026 gross gaming revenue forecast at the SiGMA Asia Summit 2026 in Manila. Full-year GGR will land between PHP320 billion and PHP350 billion, down 11.6% to 19.2% from 2025’s PHP396.14 billion. Q1 2026 GGR fell 15.9% year-on-year to PHP87.6 billion, with e-gaming GGR dropping 22.4% over the same period. E-gaming lost its top revenue spot to land-based casinos for the first time since 2024. Officials cited e-wallet delinking rules, inflation, weaker discretionary spending and Middle East tensions as key drivers of the slump. Lower-middle-income players, once the core of e-gaming growth, are cutting non-essential spending first to cover rising living costs. E-gaming operators will have to either slash customer acquisition costs drastically or pivot to higher-income user segments to stay afloat through the slump. Land-based casino operators will likely ramp up mid-tier regional tourist marketing to lock in their regained market lead. Regulators will not reverse the e-wallet delinking rule any time soon, even if full-year revenue lands at the lower end of the forecast range. This article is provided by a third-party. Pred’s World Cup-Premiered Web3 Sports Exchange: A Closer Look

(AsiaGameHub) - By: James Vance, Senior Columnist permanently stationed at a top-tier international tech weekly Pred launched its sports trading exchange ahead of the 2026 World Cup. After an invite-only beta, public access began on June 4. Beta saw over 300 users make 100,000 trades, with nearly $5M in notional volume. The platform runs on Coinbase’s Base blockchain. Traders match positions peer-to-peer, settling in USDC. Big events like the World Cup draw users, but sports offer ongoing action. Amit Mahensaria, CEO, says sports don’t have a post-event cliff. Domestic leagues keep volume alive. Pred’s markets include 15-minute in-game and live moneyline formats. It’s not a traditional sportsbook—no platform taking user bets. Independent liquidity providers quote both sides. However, regulators watch event contracts and stablecoins here. The exchange mixes sportsbook speed with on-chain transparency. But compliance with regulations will shape its path. This article is provided by a third-party. AsiaGameHub (https://asiagamehub.com/) makes no warranties regarding its content. George Santos’ Battle: Insider Trading Claims and the Prediction Market Turmoil

(AsiaGameHub) - George Santos is in the eye of a storm. Claims of using Kalshi for insider trading have him on the defensive. The former rep's denial clashes with reports of a possible DOJ inquiry. It's a messy situation, and the public's watching closely. Santos called the claim "preposterous." His lawyers contacted the DOJ after learning from NPR. Kalshi flagged trades related to his White House event attendance. AP and Reuters said it alerted authorities due to suspicious activity. The story got murkier on Wednesday. Newsweek reported no open DOJ investigation, contrary to earlier reports. Santos also lashed out at Kalshi, calling it a "danger" and demanding its license be revoked. He attacked NPR reporter Bobby Allyn too. This all ties into the bigger issue of prediction markets. They're at the center of legal and regulatory battles. With the overlap between financial contracts and gambling products, it's a complex landscape. Santos' case adds fuel to the fire. This article is provided by a third-party.
