A TEACHER in India has been arrested after pushing a girl off the first floor, Malaysia Nanban reported.
The teacher was conducting a class for Standard Five pupils at a private primary school in New Delhi when she suddenly attacked the girl with a pair of scissors.
She then dragged the girl by her hair and pushed her off the first storey onto the ground floor.
The girl was injured in the shocking attack. She has been hospitalised and her condition is reported to be stable.
According to the girl, she did not know why the teacher had behaved in such a way.
Prior to the attack, the girl said lessons were ongoing in the classroom.
The police, who have arrested the teacher, are investigating the case.
